Introduced by M&G Solid Fuels in 2012, Newburn is our fully authorised, “Ready To Burn”, HETAS approved solid fuel briquette. We believe it is the best on the market. It is comprised of the best cokes from the Americas along with top quality Anthracite from here in the UK, and a little bit of of blending magic.

I like this fuel, it’s economical in consumption ( radiators not in use yet), burns well on the Rayburn SFW for hot water and cooking without excessive heat . Very low ash too, a good fuel. ( I don’t think there is much difference between this and the Burnwell Blend. They are good and better than previous fuels I’ve had, both light easily with kindling to start them off. Thanks Jim for sourcing two good products.)
